SPI/FilmBox has brought its ad-supported streaming channel Docustream to Samsung TV Plus.
Available in India, Docustream offers viewers with a wide range of documentary features and TV programming.
The channel will now be available on Samsung TV Plus, which is pre-installed on Samsung Smart TVs produced from 2017. In addition, Docustream will be available on select Samsung mobile devices, SPI said.
The launch joins an expanding portfolio of channels available on Samsung TV Plus, with the device maker investing heavily in its AVOD service over the past several years.
Georgina Twiss, MD Western Europe and Africa at SPI International, said: “Following the success of Filmstream with Samsung TV Plus in India, we are excited to introduce another product with expertly curated content to the market. Docustream’s exceptional curation of documentary features will appeal to viewers of all ages and demographics that enjoy consuming insightful and entertaining content.”
