Dutch telco Kabelnoord has announced a partnership with tech vendor Divitel.
Divitel has provided Kabelnoord with a managed mesh WiFi solution which promises to differentiate its brand from the competition by developing a WiFi service offering.
The vendor said that the extenders improve data throughput with up to 60% depending on the specific in-home situation. Divitel also claims that the hardware ensures a stable delivery and is constantly optimizing between devices, managing traffic and prioritizing so that everyone in the home can enjoy maximum capacities at all times.
From a software perspective, the tool consists of a cloud-based intelligent WiFi remote manager specifically developed for operators and ISPs. The consumer app meanwhile instructs end users on how to install the product, while also allowing for parental control and wider in-home information.
All this translates to an improved user experience and reduced calls to customer support, along with limited churn.
Daan van Beek, Chief Technology Officer, Kabelnoord, said: “Divitel assisted us in our development of our new premium WiFi service, from idea to realisation and are a continued partner in the success of our growing business.”
