SPI/FilmBox has signed its latest distribution agreement in a deal with Orange Romania.
The deal will see SPI/FilmBox’s flagship FilmBox channel available to subscribers to the Orange World package, extending the channel’s reach to over 30 million households worldwide.
The channel offers an extensive selection of entertainment programming including Hollywood blockbusters and world cinema.
FilmBox joins a range of other SPI/FilmBox channels available to Orange World subscribers, which include FilmBox Extra HD, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD and FashionBox HD.
Tamas Fülöp, regional director of operations at SPI International, said: “We are delighted to offer Orange Romania subscribers an entertainment experience that accommodates the demands and affinities of both general viewers and cinephiles. Launching FilmBox with one of our major partners in Romania reflects our unwavering commitment to providing top-quality content globally.”
This comes a little over a month after SPI/FilmBox signed a channel distribution agreement with Bulgarian telecommunications operator NetWorx, and in a year of massive expansion for the channel operator.
