Globecast promotes company vet Malhotra to managing director for Asia

Solutions provider Globecast has promoted Shakunt Malhotra to managing director Asia.

Malhotra is a company veteran, having worked at Globecast for 18 years. He will lead operations across Asia and manage four key areas of focus: teleport services, media management services, channel operations and engineering and new technologies.

Prior to this role, Malhotra was VP for Asia operations where he was responsible for delivering projects that involved international satellite and fibre links, facility expansion, playout, field transmission and company acquisitions. Through his tenure he has held a range of roles within the company.
