Altice Portugal signs new deal with SIC

Altice Portugal/Meo has signed a new distribution deal with Portuguese commercial broadcaster SIC.

Altice Portugal said that the renewal of its agreement with SIC was an important step in the relationship between the companies, once again consolidating the quality of the offer of the best television content to customers of its Meo offering.

SIC has experienced ratings success this year, driven by programmes such as Golpe de Sorte, O Programa da Cristinaand Júliaas well as news.

The signing of the deal with Altice Portugal comes ahead of the launch of SIC’s autumn seasoin, featuring the premiere of  new soap opera Nazaré.

The deal provides for the continued carriage on Meo of SIC channels SIC, SiC Noticias, SIC Radical, SIC Mulher SIC K and SIC Caras.
