YouTube has launched a new fashion destination, featuring original and other content from fashion and beauty creators, industry professionals, publishers and luxury brands.
The destination, YouTube.com/Fashion, features content from YouTube creators including Camila Coehlho, Jenn Im, Ingrid Nilsen, Safiya Nygaard, Jackie Aina and Huda Beauty, as well as content created in partnership with brands such as Louis Vuitton.
The fashion destination will include livestreaming from catwalk shows by Ralph Lauren Michael Kors, Dior and others. Channels on the platform include Being Naomi by Naomi Campbell, Love Magazine, British Vogue and Gucci, Frieze collaboration Second Summer of Love.
YouTube said that the number of fashion and beauty channels on the platform grew six times between 2014-18.
“Our goal is to make YouTube.com/Fashion a diverse and inclusive place, filled with the latest fashion and beauty trends, content and more. We’ll be working over the coming months to bring more international voices to the page and to localize for global markets,” said Derek Blasberg, director of YouTube Fashion and Beauty in a blog posting.
