Digital video technology company Enensys Technologies has become a member of the HbbTV organisation to strengthen its position as a provider of targeted advertising tech.
Enensys said it had already developed and deployed on a major European national network a regionalised advertising solution for the DVB-T2 network, and wants to strengthen its involvement as a provider of targeted content solutions.
“Our mission is to support the actors of the broadcast world to help them optimise and monetise the distribution of their content. Interactive services are a complementary way to enable this monetisation, in particular through targeted advertising. As HbbTV is the reference standard for interactive TV services, our membership in HbbTV will enable us to strengthen our means to achieve this ambition,” said Régis Le Roux, CEO and founder of Rennes-based Enensys.
“The gradual introduction of broadcast advertising opportunities is a major challenge for our customers, which should enable them to combine the power of broadcast with the broadband’s tailor-made capability. Enensys wants to offer its customers around the world an effective technical solution that will allow them to seize this opportunity.”
