Digitürk secures Champions League and Europa League rights for Turkey

BeIN Sports-owned Turkish pay TV leader Digitürk has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast UEFA Champions League and Europa League football in Turkey for the next three years, beginning with the 2018-19 season.

The Champions League deal adds to Digitürk’s existing line-up of premium sports rights, which includes the exclusive rights in Turkey to the main local football leagues the Spor Toto Super League and Spor Toto 1 League. Digitürk also holds the local rights to the English Premier league along with S Sport TV, Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Seri A, France’s Ligue 1 and Brazil’s Série A.

Digitürk subscribers with the Star of Sports package will be able to watch Champions League and Europa League matches free of charge during the current season, while subscribers who sign up before the end of this year to the package will be able to watch the 2018-19 competitions without any additional charge.
