BeIN Media secures English Premier League for another three years

Richard Scudamore and Nasser Al-Khelaifi sign the deal

Middle East pay TV provider BeIN Sports has secured rights to English Premier League football in the region for the three seasons from 2019-22.

The deal extends BeIN Sports’ grip on the Premier League and makes the pay TV platform the home Premier League football in MENA for at least the next four years.

The agreement means that BeIN will air 380 games per season exclusively, along with magazine programming, including pre- and post-match shows, as well as daily highlights and weekly wrap-up programmes.

Via OTT service BeIN Connect, subscribers will also be able to watch all Premier League content, including the live streaming of matches, across web, tablet and mobile devices.

The Premier League will sit alongside LaLiga, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A in BeIN’s sports line-up. The pay TV operator also holds the rights to the the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, all major CAF, AFC and CONCACAF competitions, together with the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships.
