Singapore-based pay TV and media group Mediacorp has named chief customer officer Debra Soon in the new role of chief marketing officer to head up a new marketing organisation that will bring together the majority of its marketing and communications personnel under a single leadership
The integrated marketing organisation will oversee Mediacorp’s corporate branding and consumer marketing while supporting trade and affiliate marketing. Karen Yew, head, brand and communications and Christina Chua, head, partnerships and marketing, will report to Soon.
Irene Lim will take over from Soon as chief customer officer, with consumer segments, broadcast engineering and
broadcast operations teams reporting to her. Lim has worked for Mediacorp for 11 years, most recently as head, Chinese audience.
