Inea taps AirTies for WiFi

Polish cable operator Inea has tapped technology outfit AirTies to deliver in-home WiFi to its customers.

Inea will use multiple Mesh extenders from AirTies to create an intelligent Wi-Fi Mesh network throughout subscribers’ homes. The company will deploy AirTies’ Air 4920 devices and Remote Manager to provide WiFi. Cevices can connect to the best available extender and frequency band based on real-time network usage, to optimise performance, according to AriTies.

“Today all of our customers want to have a great Wi-Fi signal in every part of the apartment or house, since more and more devices are connected. We selected AirTies because of their global track record of success, and a shared commitment to providing the best possible Wi-Fi experience to our subscribers,” said Michał Bartkowiak, member of the Inea management board.

“Inea is leading the way in Poland by providing the next-generation of in-home Wi-Fi service to their subscribers,” said Philippe Alcaras, CEO of AirTies.

“In today’s super-connected homes, consumers want fast and consistent Internet throughout their entire home. We’re very proud that Inea selected our Managed Wi-Fi Mesh solution to serve their customers across Poland.”
