TV technology provider Alticast has named Andries Grondman as director of product marketing and strategy for the EMEA region.
Grondman is a specialist in media content protection, IoT security and cybersecurity. He most recently was partner and alliance director at content security outfit Irdeto.
At Alticast he will be responsible for driving new business development in the pay TV security segment as well as growing product marketing and strategy for Alticast’s new and existing customer base, according to the company.
In July last year, Alticast strengthened its EMEA presence by hiring Brian Koo as managing director and Frederic Gounard as VP of sales.
“Andries’ appointment is a sign of Alticast’s commitment to becoming the end-to-end video service integration and software solutions provider European pay TV customers turn to as a way to compete in today’s market. He will be instrumental in helping to expand our business and solidify our reputation,” said Koo.
“I am thrilled to be driving product marketing and sales strategy for the company. I believe that Alticast is well-positioned for continued growth by delivering new products and solutions that are at the forefront of a very dynamic industry,” said Grondman.
