TV search and recommendations specialist ThinkAnalytics has made two executive hires to expand its team in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regions.
Chris Gibbs has joined as vice-president of sales and business development, EMEA based in London. Gibbs has 25 years’ experience in the broadcast technology industry and was most recently VP of business development, EMEA, at Massive Interactive.
Anastasia Sviridova has been appointed vice-president of sales and business development in Russia and CIS, based in Moscow. She joins after nearly ten years at Cisco/NDS where she secured customer wins in this region.
“As we help pay TV operators and streaming providers start to find new ways of extracting value from the data they hold about subscriber behaviour, we are seeing increasing demand worldwide,” said Peter Docherty, founder and chief technology officer, ThinkAnalytics.
“Chris and Anastasia have unrivaled experience in front-end applications, set-top boxes, conditional access and middleware to help deliver on the promise of big data, machine learning and AI.”
ThinkAnalytics said the hires are a response to growing demand for its services in EMEA and Russia / CIS.
