Blue Ant Media has made a host of hires for its newly launched kids and global networks division in EMEA.
The new sales appointments will be focused on distributing the Love Nature 4K and ZooMoo channels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
George Jeffrey will be responsible for sales in the UK and Ireland, Raymond van der Vliet will over see distribution in Benelux, the Nordics and Eastern Europe, Frederic Chevance will cover France, Spain and Portugal and Kelly Butler will have oversight of Sub-Saharan Africa.
All four executives worked under Wade Platt (pictured), who joined Blue Ant from Nat Geo in September as the new division launched in September.
They will report to Platt, CEO of the global networks and kids division, who is based in LA.
Platt said: “This team brings a wealth of expertise in the global channel distribution space and has a proven track record of forging long-lasting relationships with key broadcasters worldwide.
“As we continue to add scale to our business, our newly appointed team will help drive our sales for Love Nature 4K and ZooMoo in the EMEA region, while bolstering our commitment to expand our channels footprint internationally.”
Love Nature 4K is a joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks.
