Ginx Esports TV is due to launch on the DStv satellite service in South Africa early next month.
The eSports channel initially launched on DStv’s on-the-go DStv Now service in May this year, and is due to be available to DStv Premium, Extra and Compact customers from July 4.
“Ginx is committed to supporting eSports culture worldwide. Our growing partnership with DStv is a fantastic opportunity to bring our unique view on the vibrant global eSports scene to many more viewers in Africa,” said Ginx Esports TV CEO, Michiel Bakker.
“We can expect to see more and more eSports content coming out of Africa this year and GINX is keen to play a key part in bringing that content to audiences in Africa and the rest of the world.”
Ginx eSports TV will be available on DStv channel 240.
