Youth broadcaster The QYou is expanding its Dutch footprint after agreeing a deal with Tele2.
Tele2 is adding The QYou’s linear network to its IPTV programming line-up, marking its third deal in the Netherlands following agreements with Ziggo and T-Mobile Netherlands’ OTT service Knippr.
“The Netherlands is one of the most evolved markets in the world when it comes to digital-first content. On YouTube alone Dutch creators collectively account for almost 3 billion views a month,” said The QYou’s executive vice-president of sales, Amory Schwartz.
“Harnessing that popularity for millennial audiences on television is something Tele2 understands and embraces. We’re delighted to partnering with them and further growing our presence in the region.”
