Google has updated Google Earth VR, allowing users to search and type for a location or address in order to “quickly visit anywhere in the world”.
Google has also added 27 new ‘hand-picked locations’ to help users discover “some of the world’s most incredible places” – including Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany and Table Mountain in South Africa.
At the same it is now brining Earth VR to Oculus Rift with support for Oculus Touch controllers.
The news comes a day after BBC Worldwide announced it had partnered with Google to offer a raft of BBC content on the relaunched Google Earth service.
