New extreme sports channel on Meo

Portugal Telecom, which offers services under the Meo brand, has added extreme sports channel MCS Extreme to its programming line-up.

The channel will bring content including coverage of the Red Bull X-Fighters, Red Bull Crashed Ice and Red Bull Air Race to Portuguese screens. Other content includes the summer and winter X-Games and skateboarding and BMX competition FISE.

The channel will be available in SD an HD, and is available to Meo fibre customers with a MEOBox, as well as ADSL and satellite customers. It is also available via TV everywhere service Meo Go. Content will be versioned in Portuguese.
