Portuguese Olympic video portal launch

The Portuguese Olympic Committee has teamed up with local internet portal SAPO to launch a video content portal dedicated to the games.

The canalcop.sapo.pt portal will provide video and other content, focusing on Portugal’s participation in the Rio Olympics. Other content on the service will include the history of the Portuguese Olympic movement, exclusive interviews with athletes, and news about the Portuguese Olympic Committee and its initiatives.

The initiative will involve the participation of leading local journalist Cecilia Carmo and content from the portal will also be fed to Olympic Committee media partners RTP and Sport TV.
