Kyivstar offering TV service via LG smart TVs

Ukrainian mobile and fixed telecom operator Kyivstar is making its TV service available via LG smart TVs without the need for a separate set-top box.

Kyivstar’s Domashniy TV service will be available via the app store for LG smart TVs, enabling subscribers to enter their usernames and passwords to view channels direct from the app.

Kyivstar launched its TV service last year in partnership with Modern Times Group’s Viasat, offering a number of packages to its 800,000 fixed-line subscribers across the country.
