Cyfrowy Polsat is due to launch its new Evobox DVR in mid-January, allowing users to record up to three programmes at once.
The set-top box will have a completely new design, built-in WiFi, 500Gb of memory and will let users access online services such as HBO Go and Ipla.
The set-top will be available to both new and existing TV service subscribers, priced from PLN49 (€11).
Dariusz Działkowski, technical member of the board for CyfrowyPolsat, said that the Evobox is the “most modern and advanced satellite decoder available” in its market.
“We worked on it for many months, so as to best suit the needs of even the most demanding audience and meet the expectations placed against such receivers due to the development of technology and market trends,” said Działkowski.
