CTC will make the first four episodes of the series available for purchase five days before the show is made available to Videomore subscribers.
The first two seasons of the show garnered 70 million views on licensed platforms in Russia, while a second screen app dedicated to the show was downloaded over a million times.
Purchases of the episodes will be enabled by payment service Yandex.Money or via credit card.
“We wanted to offer a surprise to the viewers of one of the nation’s most popular series during the launch of the third season. Our viewers will get a chance to watch the latest episodes of Molodezhka before they are aired. Yandex.Money offers easy access to new episodes, and we hope that our new service will be popular among the fans of our series,” said Alexey Pivovarov, director of Transmedia projects department, CTC Media.
