Liberty Global-owned UPC Poland has named Tomasz Izydorczyk as marketing director, responsible for the creation, development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy.
He was previously marketing director for B2B activities at Orange Poland, having previously served as strategy and marketing communications director. He has also worked for The Boston Consulting Group and previously served as operations director at Polish cable operator Vectra.
Separately, UPC Poland has added female-focused channel Romance TV to its line-up.
The channel will be available in the Max package and subscribers to the My Prime on-demand service will have access to movies and series that air on the channel.
Romance TV airs a mix of romantic films and series including adaptations of the works by the likes of Rosamunde Pilcher, Inga Lindstrom and Barbara Wood.
