Video processing, delivery, and monetisation firm, Envivio, will demonstrate its latest and most advanced cloud DVR solution at IBC.
The solution will use Envivio’s software, optimised to run on the HP Moonshot for Media Processing server, powered by Intel Xeon E3-1284 v4 processors.
Designed for “the multi-screen world”, the cloud DVR offering is designed to give flexibility and cost-efficiency to video service providers that want to monetise services across all subscriber devices, said Envivio.
New functions include network time-shifting, start-over TV, catch-up TV, and network personal video recorders (nPVR), in a single virtual software solution.
“Envivio and HP are introducing a breakthrough improvement based on Intel technologies that will enable faster adoption and new revenue opportunities for video service providers worldwide with this unmatched cloud DVR capability,” said Envivio CEO, Julien Signés.
