TV security specialist Conax has appointed Oliver Bernau, formerly an executive at Nordic IT company Evry, as executive vice-president and head of services.
In the newly created role, Bernau will lead Conax’s recently-formed services division and work to grow the company’s global services portfolio and launch new service offerings.
Commenting on the hire, Conax president and CEO, Morten Solbakken, said: “Oliver Bernau brings both extensive leadership experience and a track record in forming new delivery and governance models, developing new services and service management functions, and has a strong commitment to delivery and a very positive attitude.
“Our goal is to continually tap and evolve our organisational resources to continue to improve how we serve our customers and partners, and ensure they succeed in a highly dynamic marketplace.”
German-born Bernau joins the Conax executive team having previously held a number of senior roles at Evry, based in Norway. Prior to this he worked at EDB, which is now a part of Evry.
