TalkTalk to offer Netflix for free for limited period

UK telco TalkTalk is to make Netflix available free of charge to its TalkTalk Plus TV customers for six months.

The offer, which is available until July 23, will allow TalkTalk Plus TV customers to benefit from access to Netflix’s standard £7.49 (€10.57) a month package at no extra charge, enabling them to view shows including Orange is the New Black and House of Cards. The offer covers HD viewing on up to two screens.

TalkTalk has also cut the cost of its Plus TV, broadband calls and mobile SIM bundle to £10 a month plus line rental, giving homes access to six Sky channels including Sky One, Sky Living and Sky Arts along with a YouView+ DVR, anytime calls to UK landlines and a free mobile SIM.

Customers who sign up for TalkTalk Plus before July 23 will receive an email voucher that the can redeem for access to Netflix before August 31.
