UPC Czech passes Horizon milestone

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Czech Republic has passed the milestone of signing up 100,000 subscribers to its Horizon advanced TV service, which launched two months ago. 

UPC Czech Republic marketing director Jan Kohout said the company had set a target of 150,000  customers after three months, which it is on course to meet. He said he expected that 65% of UPC’s subscribers would take Horizon. Premium service My Prime now has 6,000 customers.
