Roku appoints Expedia exec as new CFO

Roku has appointed the treasurer of travel site Expedia, Steve Louden, as its chief financial officer. 

“Steve has a deep financial and strategic background across Internet, consumer experience and retail businesses – a perfect combination for a CFO at Roku,” said Roku founder and CEO Anthony Wood.

Louden was at Expedia for six years, prior to which he held finance, strategy and planning roles at Washington Mutual, McKinsey and Company and The Walt Disney Company.

Erik Bardman, who previously held the CFO role at Roku, took a job at Australian software company Atlassian earlier this year.
