Vodafone España is suing the former management of its cable operator arm Ono over alleged irregularities ahead of its acquisition of the company.
The telco is suing former Ono president José María Castellanos, former CEO Rosalía Portela and former chief financial officer Carlos Sagasta over irregularities related to VAT payments between 2011-14.
The news followed reports that Vodafone had reached an agreement with the Spanish tax authorities to close the case once certain payments were made.
Vodafone has denied payments to the three executives that they say were due following the sale of the company.
