Ooyala has partnered with video ad software company TubeMogul to create a programmatic video advertising marketplace for global brands and broadcasters.
The deal will pair TubeMogul with Ooyala-owned Videoplaza, a provider of video advertising and monetisation technology.
Brands, agencies and trading desks using TubeMogul video advertising software will be able to access Videoplaza’s international inventory of video publishers, broadcasters and operators.
“Together, TubeMogul and Videoplaza are building a secure, trusted and transparent programmatic marketplace for TubeMogul’s globally recognised customers to buy high-quality online TV inventory directly, or via private networks, from Videoplaza’s customers,” said the pair.
Maria Flores, vice president, programmatic for Videoplaza said that the firms are “leading the way for programmatic to become a reality in the new IP delivered TV world.”
“TubeMogul has done a phenomenal job creating innovation in this space — their product suite and customer base are a testament to that – and we’re thrilled to integrate our services to accelerate efforts to bring mighty TV budgets to all digital screens.”
