Inea teams up with Play

Polish cable operator Inea has struck a partnership with mobile service provider Play to develop MVNO-based mobile services.

The deal will enable Inea to offer 4G services to its customers, targeting a wider base than those who have taken up its existing low-cost mobile offering.

Inea president Janusz Kosinski said mobile services were a natural complement to the company’s existing offerings and that it saw Play as a trusted partner.

P4 Play board member Jacek Niewęgłowski said that cable operators were among the best-placed companies to offer mobile services and that he believed the partnership would be a success for both companies.
