Satellite helps lift T-Hrvatski Telekom TV numbers

Deutsche Telekom-owned Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom had 393,000 TV customers at the end of the last quarter, up 2.6% year-on-year.

The operator’s IPTV base declined by 0.9% to 335,000, while its cable TV base was flat year-on-year at 6,000. Growth came from the satellite TV business, with T-Hrvatski Telekom’s satellite base growing by 32.2% to 53,000.

T-Hrvatski’s broadband base fell by 2.2% to 617,000 over the year.

The operator reported revenues of HRK5.1 billion (€665 million) for the first nine months of the year. EBITDA declined by 2.9% to HRK2 billion.
