Mediaset Italia Online will be available globally for viewing computers, tablets or smartphones, offering a mix of lives sports events, content from news service TG5, series, movies and entertainment shows.
The service is available for a subscription that varies from territory to territory but is generally around €5 a month. Mediaset is offering the online service free for a 15-day trial period to encourage take up. Subscriptions can be taken out quarterly or annually.
“We are among the first in the world to offer such a service online: a single, universally available streaming channel, with a great richness of content, for a truly nominal price,” said Giorgio Giovetti, head of international distribution at Mediaset Italia.
