Cable Europe names annual award winners

Cable Europe awarded its 2013 Fellow award to Emma Svalin Sahlman, head of product, TV at Com Hem for her work on implementing TiVo.

Sahlman accepted her award at Cable Congress in Amsterdam this morning. Com Hem implemented its TiVo platform in 18 months.

The cable association chose Ziggo as winner of its Innovation award. The Dutch cable operator was recognised for its introduction of interactive digital TV with no set-top box, delivering services to CI+ enabled TVs.
