The Swisscom TV base grew by 26.4% to one million, including 939,000 basic TV customers, meaning that almost one third Swiss households now use the service.
Swisscom said that 410,000 customers used its Replay catch-up service, allowing users to watch programmes from about 70 channels for up to 30 hours after they have been broadcast.
Total viewings of live sporting events and on-demand movies combined grew by 10.7% to 8.8 million.
Swisscom said its fixed broadband base grew by 84,000 in the course of the year to 1.81 million.
Italian subsidiary Fastweb’s customer base grew by 9.9% year on year to 1.94 million, outperforming the market thanks in part to its bundled TV and broadband package offered in partnership with Sky Italia, according to Swisscom.
