Hybrid TV technology provider Motive Television has launched Content Express, a new software-based platform that is designed to enable delivery of non-inear content across broadcast networks to multiple devices.
Motive has deployed Content Express in single and hybrid distribution systems that combine broadband access with traditional distribution. The platform encompasses Motive’s existing technologies in a single platform designed to enable video-on-demand, catch-up TV, multiscreen distribution, targeted advertising, mobile TV and virtual channels.
“Content Express is the culmination of years of developing and deploying solutions for the efficient and low-cost delivery of non-linear content for the terrestrial and pay television industry. We can now offer an integrated and proven solution for any type of distribution of on-demand content to any and all screens. Motive is a market leader in helping its partners deliver the services and content most in demand today,” said Leonard Fertig, CEO of Motive.
