icflix launches smart TV app for LG, Samsung

Middle Eastern video-on-demand service icflix has partnered with Samsung and LG to launch an app for their respective lines of smart TV. 

The icflix app is available to download globally on both the Samsung and the LG application stores, though only subscribers in the Middle East and North Africa will be able to access the service.

Dubai-based icflix claims to be the first subscription-based movie streaming service in MENA. The service launched last year and offers, Hollywood, Bollywood and Jazwood (Arabic) content for a monthly subscription of US$7.99 (€5.80).
