Internet media platform Blinkx has partnered with web video producer REV New Media to add sports and cooking clips.
The two channels – sports channel The Fumble and recipe channel The Savory – are available now on Blinkx, with the firm due to share ad revenue with REV.
“Sports and recipe clips are consistently popular on blinkx, particularly throughout the football and food-heavy holiday season. This partnership with REV New Media, a producer of high-quality content for a wide array of lifestyles and interests, allows us to provide our users with expert and up-to-date videos, whether they’re happiest courtside or in the kitchen,” said Blinkx senior vice-president and chief marketing officer, Dan Slivjanovski.
