SNTV moves into Germany

Sports video news agency SNTV is launching in Germany, marking the latest step in its international expansion plans.

The firm, which is a joint venture between The Associated Press and IMG Media, said that German -speaking publishers and broadcasters will now be able to use its video content with localised audio commentary.

Since 2011, SNTV has offered sports video services in English and Mandarin, and now claims more than 160 digital customers around the world.

Earlier this month, SNTV agreed a deal with BT Sport in the UK to provide it with football footage – especially from the Premier League and of English teams in the Champions League and Europa League – as well as cricket and rugby union coverage.
