Belarus service provider Beltelecom has launched a number of new channels in test mode, including a Russian music channel called Bridge TV.
The other new channels launching on Beltelecom’s Zala service are Illusion+, a Russian channel dedicated to foreign films, and a string of NTV + branded film channels.
These include: NTV+ Film Union, which will air films made in the studios of the former Soviet Union and other socialist countries; NTV+ Our which will show soviet films made in the last 10 years; and NTV+ Premiere, showing recent foreign films.
At the same time Zala is now airing Belarus 5, a national sports network that will air domestic and international sport, including Champions League and English Premier League football.
