France-based subscription music service Deezer is launching a smart TV app after partnering with German smart TV services firm NetRange.
The Deezer app by NetRange will be available on TVs made by Loewe, Dune, TCL and Sharp, with music fans able to login to up to three different accounts simultaneously on the app.
Deezer, which claims to have 10 million monthly active users and 4 million paying subscribers, is already available on smartphones, computers, tablets, and Xbox consoles.
“Deezer’s music streaming services have exploded in popularity with fans around the world, and we are excited to be able to provide access to a new frontier of listening potential through Smart TVs,” said Jan Wendt, CEO of NetRange.
