German auto channel Motorvision HD is launching in France for the first time after securing a carriage deal with French IPTV operator Orange TV.
A full French language version is due to roll out at the end of November with Motorvision HD parent company German Car TV Programm having signed a distribution agreement with Orange TV during the MIPcom TV market earlier this month.
Motorvision HD will be available as part of Orange´s two sport channel packages – Bouquet Sport and Pack Sport and will air HD programmes about cars, engines, trucks, bikes and motorsports.
“After successfully operating a German and an English Channel in various countries, the launch of our channel in a French version gives us the opportunity to reach a new audience for our high quality program,” said Raimund Köhler, CEO of German Car TV Programm.
Motorvision Group operates a number of TV channels that are broadcast on Sky in German-speaking Europe and in the Middle East and North Africa via the OSN platform. In Europe Motorvision HD is available on OTE in Greece, Telekom Slovenije and Orange Romania.
