France Télévisions group news chief Terry Thullier will replace Philippe Vilamitjana at France 2, while children’s chief Tiphaine de Raguenel will be one of two execs now running France 4.
Local reports say Vilamitjana was ousted after his new season scheduled failed to gain traction, leading to this week’s changes. Thullier will remain as news chief along with his new role at the audience-shedding channel.
De Raguenel, currently heading up France Télévisions’ children content along with Pierre Siracusa, will lead France 4 as programming director along with multiplatform specialist Boris Razon, who will be editorial director.
France 4 will partially rebrand into a youth-skewing network in the new year.
