Akado back in the black

Russia service provider Akado has posted a first-half net profit for the first time in seven years. The Moscow pay TV and broadband service provider posted half year profits of RUB213.5 million (€4.85 million), compared with a RUB307.9 million loss last year.

Revenue grew by 21% to RUB6.17 billion, while EBITDA was up 41% to RUB2.65 billion.
