DRM and online video specialist Saffron Digital is making its IBC debut this year, where it will launch Stage, an online video platform designed for the management and delivery of premium content.
The platform combines tools needed to launch a premium multi-platform OTT entertainment service or UltraViolet (UV) storefront, and is designed to be quick and cost-effective for customers to deploy. Stage is made up of individual modules, including content preparation, a proprietary content management system, storefront services, application design and development, a digital locker and a proprietary player.
These are either sold separately or as a complete end-to-end solution.
At IBC Saffron will demo its new suite of Stage-related products that are built and managed on the new platform.
Mainstage is a SaaS-based ‘out-of-the-box’ solution for the management and delivery of premium multi-platform video services, while MainStage UV is a similar solution for the management and delivery of a UV service.
BackStage is a custom built content management system (CMS) that designed for companies to set-up and operate their own video service.
StagePlay is a custom-built player that uses saffron Digital’s proprietary technology and multi-DRM approach to securely deliver content to any device, while StageCraft automates the ingestion, profiling, transcoding, packaging and encryption of content.
