The Orange Group reported 6.164 million IPTV and satellite TV customers in its half-year results, up 12% from 5.506 million last year.
The figures were mainly due to an increase in French TV customers, with 5.322 signed up by June 30, compared to 4.703 million last year.
It was also helped by a 3.25% rise in Polish TV customers, which on 30 June 2013 stood at 699,000.
Overall, the firm said that its consolidated revenues were €20.6 billion, down 4.5% on a comparable basis. First-half net income was €1.2 billion, compared to €1.9 billion in the first half of 2012.
