Orange Switzerland is partnering with Swiss online TV service provider Zattoo to bundle the latter’s service with new data plans.
The move coincides with the launch of Orange’s 4G/LTE network in the country. Orange subscribers that opt for a 3GB or 10GB ‘surf package’ will receive Zattoo HD for free, giving them access to more than 120 live TV channels.
Orange Switzerland’s chief commercial officer said that “live internet TV is one of Switzerland’s most popular and most used online services.” Zattoo CEO Nick Brambring added that the Orange deal would help it to expand its footprint in Switzerland.
