YouTube: 100 hours of video uploaded per-minute

YouTube said that the video site now receives more than 100 hours of video uploads per minute – the equivalent of more than four day’s worth of content every 60 seconds.

In a blog post to mark the video site’s eight-year anniversary, YouTube also said that each month more than 1 billion people visit the site – almost half the world’s internet population.
