BBC Knowledge launches in Cyprus

BBC Knowledge has launched in Cyprus for the first time after striking a deal with local service provider Cablenet.

BBC Worldwide Channels has struck a distribution deal for BBC Knowledge with the operator to make it available on Cablenet’s digital basic package reaching 6,500 subscribers.

Cablenet already carries BBC Entertainment and BBC World News on its basic analogue and digital packages, reaching about 35,000 subscribers.
