Vivendi appoints Bolloré to board
The supervisory board of French media and telecoms group Vivendi has appointed Vincent Bolloré, the chairman and chief executive officer of the Bolloré Group, as a member of the board.
The appointment follows the resignation of Jean-Yves Charlier, who has taken on an operational role within Vivendi since the beginning of October.
In addition, Pascal Cagni, who has just left his post as general manager, vice-president Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) of Apple, was appointed as an attending director of the supervisory board.
